Speaking of why are they still running those commercials...

The Briton House with dead spokesperson Russel Wells.
Said advocate for the much-vaunted (by him) retirement residence, died in 2018.
Yet his voice still extols the virtues of the luxury haven for the elderly multiple times a day especially on 1010.
Yes I know the Briton House is run by his family and they are probably reluctant to retire their dear departed one but really.
I am the only one who finds it creepy that this poor man keeps speaking from beyond the grave?

Just because you're not alive doesn't mean your work can't live on.

There are probably lots of examples of the deceased appearing in media.  I can think of two right off the bat.

Mel Lastman still appears on ads for Bad Boy.

Actor Macdonald Carey, with the blessing of his family, still voices the intro to "Days of our lives".  He died in 1994.
