A Rare Radio Ad Appears In A Toronto Newspaper
You might say it's only appropriate for a radio station with an older demo to put an ad in an old fashioned medium like a newspaper. But I realized I hadn't seen one in a while. So it's only fitting it should feature a pic of a cassette tape and pump up AM740, aka Zoomer Radio.
This was in the news section of the Toronto Star on Saturday:

I can't recall a single ad I've seen online which is why they are, for the most part, so cheap.

I've never seen a piece of zoomer marketing creative that hasn't made me cringe.

I remember when news network CKO wanted to place ads in the newspaper telling readers they wouldn't need a newspaper anymore, papers refused to carry it.
After all is said and done, more is usually said than done.
