John Roberts (Robertson) was also an alumni of CFOS in Owen Sound. He had the funniest break during a station anniversary in the mid 90's.  He thanked CFOS for giving him his first full time job, and the advice that Ron Wray gave him when he was hired.  Ron who hired John, basically told him he should look at news more than announcing.  John said that he took Ron's advice and was now working at CBS News making about $800,000 a year.
