Corus' Alan Cross tells radio legend Dave Charles on FYIMusicNews.ca that he doesn't believe radio is dead, it's just been badly mishandled by some of the corporations that own it, especially in the U.S. And he confirms there was a time when CFNY was considering jumping to country but research told them it wasn't the right move.
An interesting read that also looks at the future - or lack of one - for AM radio and how he now says he was lucky to be forced into doing "The Ongoing History of New Music," which he originally had reservations about.
