Scott Roberts was named the new anchor on Global News Hour at 6 on Global Edmonton this week. He is replacing Gord Steinke, who is retiring after 30+ years anchoring for CITV Edmonton.

Bell has seemed to have hit CTV Vancouver hard in recent years. They laid off a whole bunch of high profile staff over the years like Scott Roberts, and even scrapped their helicopter (first in the market, but wasn’t upgraded to HD, while Global’s helicopter is)
