Too many streaming services and not enough viewers. Disney surprised many when they announced that their streaming company Disney + had lost $1 billion in the last quarter. Netflix has been clamping down on the sharing of their service. Prices will go up and all of the services will be going after anyone who steals their product. You don't want to be taken to court by these companies. They play hardball. And you won't stand a chance of winning.

Both Disney+ and Netflix are prepping commercial versions of their respective services, in which you'd get a break on the price - provided you're willing to watch ads. The premium spot-free feeds will still be around, but you'll pay more for them. It should prove enlightening to see how many opt for which one - or if viewers reject the concept altogether.

Netflix has been clamping down on the sharing of their service. Prices will go up and all of the services will be going after anyone who steals their product. You don't want to be taken to court by these companies. They play hardball. And you won't stand a chance of winning.
In Canada, the copyright trolls have a max damage amount for a regular consumer, so most times it's hardly worth their time to go to court vs the USA where 12 year olds get taken to court for millions.
It's been the case in the past, when the prices get too high, piracy increases. They will get it from outside source as they use to.
People need to vote with their wallet and cancel or drop service tiers. Then they will listen... It's the only thing these companies care about. We have in our home. The last increase on Netflix had us drop to their Basic tier.. Crave's huge increase had us cancel out right. $19.99 so I can watch it on a TV screen? Give me a break.

$11.99 was already too high for Disney Plus. Long live IPTV!! lol
Thanks for driving people to it Disney! Bring your price down to $9.99 if you want people to watch legally.

I think a big reason for the loss was promotion all over the world as it was being rolled out.
I predict that will make money before long.
