CFCF/CJAD radio legend Dave Fisher is gone
His name may not be familiar to those in the GTA but for ex-pat Montrealers, he was more than just "trivial."
"Dave respected the audience, respected every listener. But he had little patience for management, or for radio consultants who would come into town to tell him how to do his job. Dave knew how to do his job. That’s what made him one of the best."

A nice and more extensive tribute from CTV News. He was at CJAD for 32 years before he retired in 2016.

Dave was a Toronto native, growing up in Agincourt in the shadow of the channel 9 tower as he used to say. He started his radio career in Lindsay before moving to Peterborough and later Winnipeg and Ottawa before settling into a 32 year career at CJAD. RIP Dave.
