Toronto Spring PPM Ratings Bloom With Some Old Familiar Names On Top

CBC Radio One, Boom, CHUM-FM and CHFI all have something to brag about, while the Fan and TSN edge narrowly closer to oblivion at the bottom of the pack. Some of CFRB's numbers are also a bit scary, while AM 640 just never seems to get higher than where they've always been.

Q107's numbers reflect a time when John Derringer was doing mornings. How they'll break down after he's gone will be determined in the next book.

The summaries are here and then scroll down for the full breakdown, as well as results from other major markets, including Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal.

Re: Toronto Spring PPM Ratings Bloom With Some Old Familiar Names On Top

CFTR CityNews 680 has a lot to brag about as well.  Highest daily cume in Toronto.  Between CityNews 680 and CBC Radio One likely cuts into CFRB and AM 640 a lot in the ratings.   A lot of people it seems aren't that  interested in opinion radio.  Wonder how John Moore does in the morning?

Congrats to Boom, great ratings.  Too bad the Toronto sports stations don't have better numbers, both of them aren't bad.  Today Radio changed format right before this rating period so these numbers don't mean much.  It was a big deal on SOWNY with the format change but takes longer with the public to find the station.  Today needs some promotion from Stingray but it doesn't seem to be getting much.  The next book and the next after that will be much more important.
