Sadly, we're probably going to see many more stories like this surface in the weeks and months ahead.

Without saying something that could get me in trouble, I sincerely hope that when this one is investigated the history of BOTH sides is looked at going back many years.

I have no reason to doubt this story but the entire diary should be read.

I have heard so many things over the years. There will be more at Corus. And I am sure more in other places too. It’s sad. What’s more sad is it took this long for it to come out. Juan Gomeshi was 4-5 years ago if I recall and I expected a lot more to come out then. It’s a shame that these things keep happening

=12pxSo you're saying the alleged physical violence was justified?

=12pxSo you're saying the alleged physical violence was justified?

No.  I did not say that at all.
However I strongly suspect that you won't see many, if any, former colleagues offer public support for this individual.

You appear to be suggesting the victim was tremendously unpopular with former colleagues. How does your presumption correlate with the physical violence imposed upon the victim in the workplace?

Alleged physical violence. An allegation doesn’t automatically make something true.  If no one offers any support it says something about whether the other people in the workplace find the complaint or complainant credible.

A false allegation would constitute libel. Would a defamed party not immediately seek legal remedy to protect his reputation and lucrative career?

As we've learned from the allegations surrounding Q107, public silence from colleagues is an indicator of nothing.

You've convicted them but I haven't.  I have reasons for why I believe what I believe.  That is all.

You have it on good authority that there is no substance to Ms. Mainella's allegations of mistreatment and physical violence?

I didn't write that.  In fact, I said above that I have no reason not to believe it.  I have a personal opinion which I have expressed.  That is all.  Do you have it on good authority that there IS substance to Ms. Mainella's allegations of mistreatment and physical violence? You must, because you're repeatedly asking the same question with different wording.
