I sometimes forget that CBC Radio One's top rated "Metro Morning" on 99.1 in Toronto is essentially for the GTA only.

Parts of the rest of the province get another show altogether. In the case of places to the north and east, they hear "Ontario Morning," which serves cities like Owen Sound, Barrie, Orillia, Peterborough, Belleville/Trenton, Brockville, Cornwall and Pembroke. 

It now has a new host, and one who used to work at York University's CHRY. His name: Ramraajh Sharvendiran.
