The other station in Southern Ontario that also goes by The Grand nameplate has a new morning show. The station which is not affiliated with 92.9 The Grand has an AC/HotA/C format and serves Fergus/Elora/Guelph/Waterloo/Elmira and Centre Wellington county.
Billie Holiday, formerly of CHFI, The Edge, KISS 92.5 anchors the new show which was announced this morning after a contest that invited listeners to guess who the new morning team would be.

CICW (The Grand) seems to be doing well. They have been on the air for 11 years and moved into new studios about 7 years ago. They usually sound like a regular commercial station. On air talent, announcing and news, is above average.
The station has good advertising support from the business community, offer live on location broadcasts, even some national advertising. Later in the evening they have some specialized programming Through the day CICW has hourly local newscasts. Some of the newscasters are more professional sounding than what is heard weekends and evenings on much larger stations.
