Why Didn't They Have This When I Was A Radio-Crazed Kid?

The MyFM station in Simcoe is offering a radio workshop for kids ages 8-15, designed to give them a look inside the medium and the world of radio production and even get their voices on the air. As a radio-obsessed kid, I would have loved this - especially at the end, where you actually get inside a real studio.

Ms. Beazley is a former co-worker of mine... an excellent choice to run this project in Norfolk County. Although everything's now digital, I agree with RA that this would have been awesome back in the days of tape and vinyl, but could young children cut and splice tape?
