Not sure how I missed this, but the latest version of NBC's popular "America's Got Talent: Extreme" had some Canadian radio-related content. The first version of the show came to an end Monday night, with a winner being declared. 

It wasn't the Canuck, but it wasn't from lack of trying. His name is Danny Paulin and he does evenings on Giant FM in Welland under the name "Danny Zzzz." His shtick is doing magic, hypnotism, illusion and near death escapes. But enough about his radio gig...

Anyway, he didn't win the prize, but at least he competed and you can see some of his handiwork in the video below. As far as I know, he's still on The Giant every weeknight, and if keeping a steady job in radio isn't considered a death-defying feat these days, it probably should be!
