I tuned in late, but thought I heard the 640 host confirm Tuesday that he suffered from the virus after visiting with family over the extended holidays. Did I hear this correctly?
If so, he's the second Toronto radio on-air type I've heard admitting to catching it. (Although I'm sure there are more.) Ted Woloshyn was the other one last year.
Thankfully, both have recovered.

I heard him refer to it a second time and he admits he did not get seriously ill and considers himself lucky to have come through it relatively unscathed. He confirms it was Omicron, despite the fact he was fully vaccinated.

Jerry Agar mentioned Monday morning that he had COVID as well, discovered when he took a test while coming back from a trip to the U.S. during the holidays. He had extremely mild symptoms and continues to do his show while isolating from his temporary home in Dallas, Texas.
