The Grand coming to you from Hamilton?
When I'm bored, I start checking things out.
I was on The Grand's website, and they were based in Caledonia, but on their contact page, it now lists Upper Wellington in Hamilton as their address. That's where KX947 and Wave Online radio are located.
I know their address was always Argyle St in Caledonia.

Jack Peets has returned to do weekends on The Grand. He posted a picture of him outside the Hamilton station showcasing his "new weekend home". So they did leave Caledonia.

Honestly, I don't think the CRTC cares where a radio station broadcasts from.
Just strictly where they solicit ads. (& their news coverage, etc...)
If their licence requires them to serve Caledonia, then, as long as the ads solicit only that area, they'll get away with it, I gather...

It doesn't matter where the physical plant is as long as they serve the area of licence.
Still, it looks better if you're in the community.
Sauga 960 has Mississauga in its branding. But the studios are in Etobicoke and it has a 416 area code - not 905, which Mississauga uses.

What is the number for callers to call in and chat? Are they at least using a 905 or 289 number?

I'm not sure I've ever heard a solicitation for callers. But on the odd occasion they do give out a number, it's always 416. That's their area code and I suspect there isn't a 905 to be used. Why pay for a line they rarely use?

Evanov probably began that trend, having a studio 80kms away in Etobicoke from Orangeville.

And let's not forget the trouble Pellpropco got into running CHSC St. Catharines out of a Toronto building - although they lost their licence because they were deemed to be trying to serve Toronto instead of a Niagara-area audience and had a ton of compliance issues.
But it's a perfect example of a company running a station licenced to one place from another more than 60 kms. away

I believe the My FM stations are all programed from a central facility. Don't know where that may be but I can receive the Strathroy, Exeter and St Thomas signals and they all have the same song on at the same time.

My FM to my understanding does share music logs between stations, but does run them from local studios. It's how Bell has been doing some of their brands for Virgin, Move, Pure Country and Bounce.
As for The Grand, I think the rules on local studios have been adjusted slightly by the CRTC, and allow some flexibility as long as the studio is in a regionally similar area, and runs observational content for the local area the station is licensed to serve (Weather, local content etc). I don't have the rules in front of me, but I do know some flexibility has been given in the last change to the rules on studios. The music logs can be programmed anywhere, and duplicated... as long as the station is hosted from studios within a region and targeted locally.
