    Geddy Lee turns 68 today

    He's a bit of a baseball fan, ;) and one of the most beloved musicians in Canada and around the world for his many years with the phenomenon that is the band Rush.

    Happy birthday Geddy Lee. Thanks for the music.🎂🎈

    Hopefully we will see Geddy in his seat behind home plate at the Rogers Centre tomorrow or sometime soon. Take Off was number 1 in Canada and peaked at #16 on the Billboard singles chart.   The song reached  #5 on WLS, and a number #1 hit on CHUM.  Bob and Doug McKenzie's album  The Great White North achieved over triple platinum status in Canada and hit #8 and a gold record on the Billboard Top 200 album chart.  The album was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1983 and won a JUNO for Best Comedy Album in 1982.
