With Bell planning to return MuchMusic as a TikTok entity on July 7th, one of its former Veejays has decided to beat them to the punch. 

Ed The Sock officially launched something called NewMusicNation on Friday, an online video music service that sounds suspiciously like what Bell is planning. The Sock's big mouth, Steven Kerzner, claims he had the idea first and Bell copied the concept, after he successfully crowdfunded the start-up funds for the channel. 

And by the way, there's an offer for anyone who wants to try out as a VJ to get a chance, if that's always been a hidden dream.

No word on what this will mean for Ed's show on Sauga960, but as of this posting, he's still listed in the talent section.
