The Hamilton Spectator is celebrating an amazing 175th birthday and is looking back at local history. On Saturday, the paper paid tribute to the opening days of CKOC. It's not really much of an article, but the pics are kind of interesting. Still, there is so much more that could be written about the place than the short paragraph that's up there now.

My wife's uncle was William (Bill) Guild. He was on the production and advertising side of the business. He started and wrote the scripts for the Black Horse Tavern radio plays which indirectly promoted Black Horse beer.
