I saw on my Twitter feed, a few local stations are promoting their win of the "Murrow Award". I could Google what it is, (clearly I am not in the radio business) but I was wondering if that is a big deal? Is it equal to The Emmy's?

Former CBS Newsman Edward R. Murrow... back when real news mattered. CBS Radio News Correspondent during the London Blitz, and then WWII.
This is a big deal in the news circles.
Not for the "infotainment" type news styles, or the 24/7 cycle on the latest Kardashian "news", but you know, the stuff that matters, "boring" as it may be to the twitter verse crowd...
