    Saved By The Bell's "Screech" Dies Of Lung Cancer

    This is one that will hit people of a certain age. Dustin Diamond, who starred as Screech on the original "Saved By The Bell," has died of cancer. He was just 44.

    He was the only original member of the cast not invited back for the remake, currently running on NBC's "Peacock" streaming service.

    Oh man...he was my favourite character. And only 3 weeks after diagnosis...

    Global used to have Saved by the Bell in its weekday afternoon lineup in the mid-90s.
