Billboard has released the top 100 songs for 2020 in their estimation.  Number one this year was from Toronto's The Weeknd with the somewhat new wave 80's sounding Blinding Lights. The song was also the number one R&B/Hip Hop/Soul single of the year.   The Weeknd has dominated the singles and album charts all year but strangely was snubbed by the Grammy's in November with not even one nomination. The song Blinding Lights which is also cancon was number one in 34 countries around the world including the US and Canada. This marks the 7th time that a Canadian artist has had the song of the year in Billboard's Hot 100 and the 3rd in the R&B/Hip Hop and Soul category.
