at the recommendation of a few big yellow board members i'm making this post (aka: a hesitant "plug") .
re: my oldies show (wed., noon eastern)
the theme for today's show is... "no theme"! but in the "woulda, coulda, shoulda, category we have a great song from a founding father of rock-n-roll...plus we're featuring a song, from another founding father of rock-n-roll, that hit the top 40 charts over a decade and a half after his first hit.
it's 2 hours of oldies from the 50's, 60's, and early 70's and it's all gluten free!

No theme? You got'ta have a theme, otherwise you'll be all over the map like 101 other oldies programs

You want themes? Forgotten '45s with yours truly has a different theme every week (this past week it was songs that were #1 in the U.K. but didn't do much over here.) There's also a different mini-theme at the bottom of every hour - Rock and Roll Heaven in hour #1, NOT in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in hour #2, and Songs That Sound Alike in Hour #3. Also the Dusty Disc of the Week and much more every Monday from 1-4 p.m. ET on Northumberland 89.7, Truly Local Radio:

i'm thinking of a theme, for one of my upcoming shows.... "artists who are left handed but tend to use their right hand". it's going to take a bit of research, so i don't know when it will air.
