Re: Former CFL commissioner Jeffrey Orridge named new CEO of TVO

A bit of a left-field hire but he does have broadcasting experience as executive director of CBC Sports and senior management experience generally as well as being a Harvard Law grad, so he's no dummy. I'm just thankful Doug Ford didn't give it to Ezra Levant or someone from the Sun or someone whose appointment would signal a desire to sell off/privatize TVO.

It was CTV that eliminated sports coverage across the country and in local newscasts. CBC has always had excellent sports coverage.

Do they still employ that sniveler Ron McLean, or is he with Rogers?  I don't even know who does HNIC anymore, and don't really care.
