New Georgina FM Station May Be Testing By Labour Day

Broadcast Dialogue has a story about a shake-up in management at the Torres Media Group. Most of it isn't very interesting, but the last line is:

"The new station, which will serve Georgina from studios located in Keswick, is expected to be test-ready by the Labour Day weekend."

Whether it reaches the GTA is another story, but it might be worth checking out 93.7 in early September to see if you hear anything - and how it might affect reception from WBLK Buffalo.

On southern Georgian Bay and beyond, FM 93.7 is Bayshore's "Country 93" out of Owen Sound.    Excellent country gold program Sundays 7 - 9:00 a.m. (followed conveniently by Roger Ashby on FM 88.5)

K.K.
