It was just a few weeks ago that Peterborough's MyFM station went from all sports to FREQ 90.5, an alt rock format. 

And now the smaller market has a big new import - a syndicated U.S. morning show based out of L.A. called "The Woody Show," hosted by a guy named Woody Fife. I can't find a lot of info on it, except that it sounds like your typical million laughs morning zoo-type program, although I'd have to hear it to be sure.

Not sure how an American-oriented show serves the audience in Peterborough, but it does prevent MyFM from having to pay for its own morning crew. So there's that...
