Don Jackson 'Lovers and Other Strangers' passes away
Just picked up the news that Don Jackson has died. Long time broadcaster of "Lovers and Other Strangers nightly on CHFI. Prior to that, Jackson entertained Montreal audiences on CFQR (92.5).

Don was a true pro. A major talent. More important, a good guy. We are thinking of Lydia.

I loved Don's show and work, he was a voice of calm, love and kindness, not to mention romance.
RIP Don, you were truly one of a kind.

Don Jackson started in the same place I did. Lakeland Broadcasting in Oshawa. Don throughout his career was a true worker bee. Prep was his middle name. He worked very hard to make his program work. He NEVER coasted. RIP Don. Gone too soon.
