Family Feud Canada, which performed reasonably well for CBC when it launched in December last year, has been renewed for Season Two. CBC has ordered 104 new episodes of the franchise game show for a 26 week run. The program will again be hosted by comedian Gerry Dee.
Some television critics have been quite negative about CBC producing this type of show and panned the program. However, google reviews currently give Family Feud Canada 81% approval or likes. Ratings during the 7:30pm weekday time slot (Mon-Thurs) have increased and have been in the 450-620 thousand range for new episodes. Over 30% of the audience tuning in has been in the important 25-54 age demographic.
