Jerry Stiller passes at 92

I'd say he lived a good, fun, long life...he was 92 and passed away earlier today. He is best remembered as Frank Castanza, George's dad on Seinfeld...here's more on this...

Here too is one of my fave scenes with Jerry as Frank Castanza and with the snow flurries flying this morning it is kind of appropriate too! RIP, Jerry...you did life well!

The world would be so good if it weren't for some people...

Re: Jerry Stiller passes at 92

It turns out Stiller not only didn't originally want to play the role of George's father, he'd never even heard of the show. In fact, they actually cast somebody else. When he finally did accept, the dad was supposed to be meek and mild. Fortunately, his own sense of what the character should be took over and the Frank Costanza role is now a part of TV history.

I hope he's finally found "serenity now."
