Bill Withers Dies From Heart Problems

Just noticed this on the Oldies Music Board and thought the loss of another musical great was worth noting here.

Bill Withers, who recorded "Ain't No Sunshine" and "Lean On Me" among other classics, has succumbed to heart issues. He won three Grammys during his career. Withers was 81 years old and had been out of the recording industry for many years. 

He may be gone (and now there truly "Ain't No Sunshine,") but his hits will be playing on oldies radio for years to come.
