I admit I don't listen to a lot of podcasts, but this one definitely caught my attention. It's from NPR in Washington and investigates the demise of the radio DJ in favour of automation. Among the guests: occasional SOWNY contributor Scott Fybush and Barry Hansen, better known to most of us as "Dr. Demento." It also includes very brief aircheck snippets from great jocks, including Wolfman Jack.

A fun listen from a host who admits he started his radio career at a campus station in Montreal.
