Forget The Radio, Listen To The Music Of The Streets - Literally

This really doesn't have much to do with radio and it's from a site in South Africa. But the accompanying video is so bizarre, I can't help but wonder if it's even real. It's an unknown highway in an unnamed country that puts musical notes on what appears to be a major stretch of roadway - and plays a song when you run over them.

Why anyone would spend the money for this is beyond me and how you could hear it from inside a closed in car is also a mystery, but I couldn't help but find it fascinating - if it really exists.

I wonder if they take requests?

Forget the radio, listen to this! Short stretch of road has musical notes built into it

Actually, it's real.  There are several in the U.S. as well.

Thanks. I'd never heard about this before. So what happens if you go faster than the speed limit? Does it play in double time?
