Apparently we have a "streaming" problem in Canada

This article in the Toronto Star Business section points out that there is a streaming problem in Canada and content consumption can be a challenge...

For example fans of FX have a hard time getting to watch programming and of course the article mentions going after Piracy providers...

My sense is an overhaul is needed and I hate to say this but some kind of government enforced parameters might be required too!

What REALLY matters is how to get people to watch as many commercials as possible, even if they chose to replace cable with IPTV.

The tougher part is going to be getting the audience here (in Canada) to watch the Canadian channels. 
Here's hoping Hudson & Rex & Canadian Family Feud do well in the ratings... (to name a few Canadian shows that would draw an audience to watch local Canadian ads)
