When Frank Sinatra & Danny Kaye Co-Owned A Radio Station

Talk about an unlikely pair for station ownership! But there was a day when The Chairman of the Board and the Court Jester co-owned a Spokane radio station, then called KNEW. As it turns out, Sinatra's involvement with both the station and the mob meant his ownership didn't last very long.

I love radio history and this is one of its most unusual stories. I wonder what Old Blue Eyes would think about the fact that his former outlet is now playing the dreaded rock and roll stuff he hated so much?

Who KNEW? Sinatra once part-owner of Spokane radio station

By the way, he's not the only celeb that's tried his hand at radio ownership. Another that comes to mind is KJLH, an L.A. urban contemporary format that's been owned for many years by Stevie Wonder.
