I checked it out last night and news organizations are crediting CBC with the story. It was their microphone that picked up the conversation, and they were the first to run with it on Power and Politics on Tuesday evening.   Sort of like how the leaders and Princess Anne are standing around having a drink.  Really what you can make out, they were just saying what happened. Macron was 40 minutes late because he was with Pres. Trump for the unscheduled 40 minutes press conference. It is kind of fun to be the fly on the wall for a few seconds though.

And as various stand ups have already said, including Trevor Noah, Trudeau definitely is two faced....black and white..

Macron was challenging Trump about Syria, Turkey and other issues in real time during their press conferences. Have not seen something like that before during a joint press conference between world leaders.
