The Casey Kasem Of Country Countdowns Has Died
Not sure how many people know the name Bob Kingsley, but he was to country music fans what "American Top Forty" legend Casey Kasem was to pop aficionados, hosting the syndicated "American Country Countdown" for more than 40 years. The Radio Hall of Fame veteran passed away Thursday at the age of 80, shortly after being diagnosed with cancer.
The show airs across the U.S. and on seven stations in Canada, most of them out west.

He left ACC for a self-titled countdown show about a decade ago. Yet old versions of the former show stream at the website of the new show.
