The Day Bobby Curtola Met Elvis In Disguise

Bobby Curtola is being honoured by the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the end of the month, and Bill King - the veteran musician who also plays live piano on Ted Woloshyn's Saturday afternoon show on CFRB - talks to the son of the late hitmaker about his father's legacy and the day he saw Elvis in disguise.

An interesting read about a singer who made it on radio before Can Con forced anyone to play his music.

Frankly, I'd forgotten all the hits he had. Everyone knows "Fortune Teller." But there was also "Hitchhiker" "Three Rows Over," "Aladdin," and a song that would be considered politically incorrect today,  "Indian Giver."
