I'm willing to bet none of us have ever heard of KVMC in Abilene, Texas, a radio station built in the 1950s. Turns out, it's filled with ancient equipment because the recently deceased owner never threw anything away. (A man after my own heart.) Now his widow wants to dispose of the place but not before donating all that low tech machinery to a museum. 

Not a really relevant local story for this board, but the accompanying pics are pretty terrific and it's the kind of tale you rarely see anymore.
