News this morning outside of the election promises...is that Cars front man Ric Ocasek passed away at 75...

Here's more on the story and a Cars song too...I liked that band when they first came out...that was a pretty cool time for music and bands like Elvis Costello's, Joe Jackson, Gary Newman, XTC, The Police, The Ramones were emerging onto the radio landscape...it was an exciting to hear this new sound back then!

RIP Ric and thanks for the music of my youth!
