There’s a new Jerry Agar promo running on CFRB that features very quick clips from that host’s 9 AM to noon show on 1010. An announcer comes on praising Jerry’s program, claiming it’s not boring like other such talkers on the dial.
 
At this point, a supposed “other show” is excerpted with a nasal twanged goofy voice asking something like, “Who’s your favourite Simpsons character? Call us now! We want to know!”
 
Of course, Mike Stafford makes frequent references to the longest running TV show in history on his morning program all the time. And even though they’re not on opposite each other like they used to be, I can’t help but wonder if the choice of that fake topic was a subtle but deliberate slam aimed at the guy on the other talk station in town.
