"We want to become the biggest music streaming company in the world,” Eric Boyko, chief executive of Stingray Group Inc., the Montreal-based company that packages songs for playback over cable television channels, told me in an interview recently.
This is pretty heady stuff for Stingray, which just took over a number of radio stations in Canada this year...
Now they want to take on "Streaming" Giants as well...

In this day of hyper-niching, is this strategy a wise move or could it mean the downfall of Stingray's growth and acquisition plans further down the road?
One thing for sure, they are aggressive and they are investing in growth sectors of the "new" broadcasting industry!
