Station Receives Posthumus 'Thank You' Note From Dead Listener

Well, this is a new one. A radio station in Britain has received a thank you card from a recently dead man, expressing his gratitude for years of entertainment.

I can think of a few sentiments I might provide for some stations here - but I'm not sure they'd be saying 'thanks!'

Anyway, a nice gesture if a little odd. It certainly gives a new meaning to the term "dead air."

Radio listener organizes for thank you card to be sent to favourite station after he passed away

i'm sure the station's fan would glady validate the message, but....

And the end of this story is that a large number of strangers who heard about this turned out for the guy's funeral - egged on, of course, by the radio station he loved.

Dozens of strangers attend the funeral of a loyal radio listener, 83, who thanked his favourite station in an emotional message from beyond the grave
