Not sure if he's stated this before, but Mike Stafford confirmed on Friday that former GNR640 talk show host-turned-full time newsperson Tina Tirgiani has become his temporary part time co-host for the length of Supriya Dwivedi's maternity leave - which won't be up until sometime in the fall. Tina will join the show in progress from 7-9 AM, giving Stafford two hours of extra help on what is a busy shift. 

I've never been a fan of Surpriya but I do like the chemistry between Tirgiani and Stafford and wish that could be made permanent. 

Longtime listeners will remember when Tina had her own talk show on the station, so she's certainly capable of being a part of the morning team.
