When I first heard about this, I immediately worried that maybe it was a suicide (being almost the 1-year anniversary of her husband's unfortunate death, this can obviously bring on depression).  More details about that can be found here:

My deepest sympathies to her two children. They lost both parents in the span of just a single year to different horrible outcomes.

Oh, for the record I believe Christine was age 53 at the time of her passing. The news article that mentioned her husband's death last year cited her age as 52 back in May 2018. She likely would've been 53 by now. Far too young to die.
