Why Has NT1010 Gutted Its Longest Running Feature?

I was always a big fan of "Touchdowns and Fumbles," which has run on CFRB for over a decade and is the longest continuing feature on the station. It's about the media - which is why I'm so interested in it - and how various figures who appear on it have handled their communications.

It predates Jerry Agar, and used to run for half an hour every Friday at 11:30 AM, where it remained even when he took that slot. But a few months ago, everything suddenly changed without explanation. It was shortened to just 15 minutes. But now it's even worse. It's delayed by traffic and so many spots, that the entire segment now lasts just six minutes.

A sad way to treat one of its best features and at this point, it's so short I'm not even sure why they bother anymore.

I think CKNT picked it up in the hopes of boosting ratings...

The world would be so good if it weren't for some people...
