I kind of like where we are going musically in Canada, our music industry is diverse, talented and can fully compete on any stage in the world.
I liked last night's awards, and oddly the one thing I liked most was that it wasn't a fashion show like some of the American award events are. It is more about the music and honouring those who have done well at it this year.
It was a nice tribute to Cory Hart and Sarah did well too.
Sting even showed up! (I know, cue "Roxanne" now)!

So, what did you think? Did you enjoy the event and do you feel like I do, that our music scene is pretty dynamic and we have some very talented, performers, producers, sound engineers etc.

Which, ironically, may be an argument for finally getting rid of Canadian Content rules that control so many radio playlists.
