Ken Nordine

Ken Nordine the man behind "Word Jazz" has died at the age of 98.  I have the entire collection of his works.  A true hipster; from the 50's till now..

Re: Ken Nordine

When I see or hear the name Ken Nordine, I think of his 1957 LP, Concert In The Sky, with the Teddy Phillips Orchestra. Also, I think it was early-to-mid '60s, Nordine did the hippest spots ever for Jello -- separate commercials for every flavour. You wanted to run out and buy them all. Terrific talent.
