    Global picks up Colbert

    Global will be carrying the new CBS late show with Stephen Colbert, begining September 8th...

    So, this means that Global will be trimming the late news programming in most of their markets by 30 minutes to accomodate the live simul with CBS.

    No more News Hour Final.... just News Final....

    They're still calling it Newshour final @ 11, ending @ 11:35 (or sooner to allow for ads, maybe?)

    That sounds about right for Global.... on the cable box tv guides, they still have Carolyn MacKenzie noted as the anchor for NHF, even though she moved to the re-vamped "Morning Show" back in May....
