How will the RPM (music distributor) bankruptcy affect CDN music biz?

RPM has filed for bankruptcy and owes some of Canada's biggest record labels some big dinero...(even more than CKNT owes).

They owe Universal Music $4.1 million among other debts to other creditors.

What does this mean for the music biz in Canada? Is a day of reckoning happening? Does it need to be really re-booted? Is the time ripe for some "Disruption" in the industry?

Here is more on the fall out of RPM's demise.
