For several years, CTV Toronto’s News At 6 has been airing daily promos on CFRB (as well as CKTB.)
Now every day at 3:20 PM, afternoon yakkers Ryan Doyle and Jay Michaels are going to get a few minutes carved out on CP24 to promote what’s coming up on their drivetime "The Rush," at 4. Not sure how long this has been happening or how effective it will be (who turns off their TV to listen to the radio?) but I think it’s new.
With all their properties, I’ve always wondered what took Bell so long to implement this kind of symmetry.

I just heard CFTO anchor Michelle Dube doing a live few mInutes-long debrief/promo on RB, beyond just the usual pre-recorded 30 sec. spot that used to air there. Obviously this cross pollination is going to become more common.
I should mention that Rogers has been doing this with its properties for some time. Reporters from City regularly do stories for 680 News and vice versa.
