BREAKING!!!!TORONTO, January 25, 2019 - More than 10% of the Donor Members of JAZZ.FM91 Inc. have requisitioned a general meeting of members to replace the current Board of Directors of JAZZ.FM91."The quick response of over 10% of members to become requisitioners is a clear demonstration of the frustration and anger about the conduct of the current Board of Directors," Mr. Hemming, Founder of SJFM said. JAZZ.FM91 brand is being damaged by the Board and management, but rather than simply give up on the station, concerned members prefer to exercise their democratic right to try to bring about positive change by replacing the current Board with new faces and skills that can restore confidence in the leadership of the station."The slate of alternate directors proposed by Save JAZZ.FM91 includes nominees with radio broadcast experience, financial and marketing expertise, as well as music education, which is an important mandate of the station."Members have told us they want to see a return of live hosts - many high-profile on-air hosts have been dismissed or resigned over recent months
- and programming that engages listeners," Hemming added.
